This webinar will give filmmakers an understanding of the underlying rights needed to license music for use in various media and how to obtain those rights. We’ll start at the rough cut and provide some tips to avoid temp love and some home remedies for it. We’ll give an overview of the essential music rights needed, and give info on how to find music rights holders and how to approach them. We’ll also cover the role of music supervisor, music clearance specialists, and how to collaborate with them in order to get the best music for your film.
