Well, even in my university years I took it on all of our camping trips...to the delight of other campers!
And, then...when my husband and I moved to New Zealand for two years I had my mother send my little Italian accordion to me by mail because I couldn't live without it.
Which means that my children grew up to the sound of it in my womb and thereafter in the mornings to wake them up and around campfires in the yard by the river.
So much fun!
Sits quietly on a shelf, now.
So, I guess you could say that since I've grown up, I don't play it anymore.
I was so thrilled when 'Child with Accordion' was jury selected to go to Paris!
As I painted her I kept saying to myself that she would travel and, yes...she did less
That accordion was the story of my childhood!
