California Online Film Fest

  • The California Online film Festival is currently accepting

    submissions in all categories.



    The California Online Film Festival was created by Joe and Harry Gantz, the producers of such shows as the Emmy winning HBO series "Taxicab Confessions", the Showtime series "Sexual Healing" and the feature-length documentary, "Couples Arguing". The winners will receive cash prizes for each category; $300 for first place, $100 for second place.



    We accept films of all lengths in any language. Subtitles are welcomed but not required. We do not use MPAA ratings or censor content.



    The categories are:

    1. Animation 6. Web Plays / Dance Films

    2. Narratives 7. Relationship Self-Portraits

    3. Documentaries 8. Music Films and Music Videos

    4. Environmental Films

    5. Comedy



    CrushedPlanet will broadcast a live online event screening all selected films in each category beginning on September 8, 2008 and continuing with multiple showings until December 8, 2008.
