  • These Amazing Shadows is a film lover's delight, part of the Sundance 2011 selection. The film celebrates the National Film Registry at the Library of Congress with clips from silent era, Hollywood's golden age, historic home movies and more. It reveals how “American movies tell us so much about ourselves…not just what we did, but what we thought, what we felt, what we aspired to, and the lies we told ourselves.”

    The screening of These Amazing Shadows is part of the Stranger Than Fiction Documentary Series that will run until May 31 at the IFC Center in New York.
