The Northport Independent Cinema Exhibition (NICE) is a judged film festival created to support student and independent short film screening on Long Island, New York.
Entries are open to international and domestic short film at the amateur and student level. In its first year, NICE was created to support budding and amateur filmmakers in getting big screen exposure for their hard work and creativity.
NICE entry fee is $35 (US), and the only categories are short (3-8 minutes) and long (8-20 minutes), and the deadline for submission is May 20, 2014. Grand Prize winner will have their movie shown as as a double feature with a first run, nationally released movie in a public prime time showing for a one week period.
The Deadline for Submissions is MAY 20, 2013. We hope to see your student or independent short film in our screenings!
