Cue the music...now there is a national day devoted to young filmmakers!
National Kid Filmmakers Day celebrates the achievements of young filmmakers. Held annually on August 1, this special day is an excellent opportunity to showcase your film screenings, film festivals, filmmaking workshops, film camps and film awards.
Want to join us? Simply schedule a special filmmaking activity for children (grades 1-12) for August 1 and (if accepted) we'll list it for free on the National Kid Filmmakers Day website. We'll also email you free NKFD website banners and logo with your submission acceptance letter!
Over the next few months, we will be developing our National Kid Filmmakers Day site with a store to offer official NKFD merchandise. We invite you to complete our Event Submission Form at www.kidfilmmakersday.com, so that your filmmakers may enjoy the recognition they deserve!
