Yes! Celtx is for real, but you seem to be mistaken on how it works. While Celtx does offer online saves and backups of your projects, it is not an online-exclusive program. You save your work to your own computer, but can back it up online to either move the file or to allow other Celtx users access.

You do not need to be online to access your files, you online need to be online to access the files you've backed up on the Celtx server or to use any of its other online features.

I've used the software for a few years now, and I whole-heartedly reccomend it to anyone.
