i was wondering if there are any professionals that might let us know what kind of software if any they use to write with
Hi. I use Scrivener. It's avalable for Windows and Mac and help me to collect copies of sources of information, illustration, grapgs, etc.
Many writers use Final Draft...Movie Magic Screenwriter...Movie Outline
Celtx is free software quite a few peopel use.
The software is only the tool. Make sure you write every day...even if it's only for 15-20 minutes. It's a muscle that must be worked out.

This thread seems a little old but I thought I'd 'revive' it somewhat.
We use Final Draft, however I've used Celtx in the past (free download) and I also hear good things about Trelby available on the internet to download free. By all accounts these are both user friendly and very efficient screenwriting software - and no, I'm not affiliated in any way with either... just trying to pay forward some handy info.
