A lot of people get confused about copyright and there is an awful lot of conflicting and just plain wrong info about the place so I thought I would put together a little article about it.

I am not a lawyer but have worked in music publishing in the past and have checked my facts very carefully, but it is worth noting that it is a short article so can't cover all the complexities but should give people a pretty good idea.
