    Arri has some good stuff but way expensive. I think the idea is to rent most of what you need and not buy those $60,000 dollar rigs.

    That's the thing, you don't need to spend $60k. You can do it by connecting a $200 Gimbal with a $150 stabilizer.

     That's a pretty great, inexpensive option.  A steadicam operator friend of mine rigged an original ronin on his steadicam years ago to get a similar effect.  It worked pretty well.  The trinity system is awesome, but definitely only for the pros.  Its cool to see people coming up with a poor mans option

    This trick is incredible and so cheap! The trinity is so expensive that I could never afford it but this I could try! Thanks for the tip!!
