A nonprofit organization based out of Bethesda, MD, CINE’s mission is to support emerging and established producers of film, television and digital media through its film competitions, educational panels, screenings and networking opportunities.
For over 50 years, the CINE Golden Eagle Award has signified excellence within the film and television industry; from emerging filmmakers to industry pioneers, the CINE Golden Eagle Competition is home to the best of film, TV and digital media. CINE Golden Eagle Award-winning "alumni" include Steven Spielberg, Ken Burns, Albert Maysles, Mel Brooks, Mira Nair, Spike Lee, Saul Bass, Pixar Animation Studios, Mike Nichols, and many more.
Not all great filmmakers work on a studio lot, so we have categories for student and independent filmakers, digital media, industrials, news, reality TV and more.
