ParidiCine is born in the head of it’s director Maria Jose Burgos, who after living various experiences abroad comes to the conclusion that local realities rarely have the opportunity to be known or recognized globally. Cultural exchanges in film are almost nonexistent. Instead we are only familiar with established artists and in some cases we don’t even recognize the film identity of our own country.
What happens then, is that when we enter into a new film reality we start from zero, without notions or knowledge to help us navigate the new film culture we are encountering. Taking this into account The World Wide project Paridicine is born in order to Connect, act as Platform Showroom and Exchange between young cinema and the world.
Young People all over the world are uniting around this project because they believe that the lack of connection between emerging artists must end.  In this way each contributor from his own geographic locations will open the door to his own reality and that of the local art scene.  This information can serve as comparison for some artists, in order to create future co-productions or simply as a tool to become closer with the film world globally and locally .
