screenwriting on the cheap

    Hey everyone,

I'm about to start a scriptwriting class at my school (next quarter) and definately can't wait to start. I've never really tried my hand at writing in the past, but recently have been working on an extensive project, which will be broken up and shot episodically for film festivals. One bit of help I've found along the way is Celtx (www.celtx.com). It's a free program (mac, pc & linux) that helps organize your preproduction work. It has a built-in scriptwriting software, storyboarding features, as well as property, location & talent management and way more. This has been an indispensable addition to my workflow and I'd suggest it to anyone interested. Watch their video tutorials to learn about the software & you'll be on your way making films!
