I have been trying for three full days now to get an After Effects end scroll to be transparent on the output. I am not that familiar with alpha channels and all that stuff and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with that.
All I want After Effects to do is render the movie file WITHOUT A BACKGROUND, so that when I take the file into Final Cut Pro I can lay it over picture and the text will simply scroll over picture instead of over black.
I created the scroll in Photoshop and animated and put a duration on it in After Effects.
Any ideas?
