About Me
I graduated with a BFA in film from the University of the Arts. I have worked on several short film projects of my peers’ as well as my own in and around the city of Philadelphia. My process involves heavy reliance on the iterative act of shooting and editing. Using the technique of camera-stylo, I try to shape scenes out of images and occurrences in my head and I leave myself very open to discovery rather than relying rigorously on a script. The next scene I film is always determined by whatever scene I’ve just finished. Experimentation is at the very heart of all of my film work.
The project I am currently developing is an immersive cinematic experience that puts viewers on the path of a character lost, trying to find their way home in a dying world affected by the toxic runoff of a massive power grid. In her wandering, she recalls a strange ability she has that links her mind and body to this substance as it continues to seep into every living thing.
