About Me
I am an artist who works primarily in photography and video. I am interested in introspective work that often exudes vulnerability. The subjects that I have addressed in my works have included, mental illness, addiction, and most recently my racist tendencies. While I have worked primarily in photography throughout my undergrad, I was enamored with video after taking a beginning video class as an elective in the fall of 2019. This led to my most recent film, An Open Letter to My Younger Self, which explores my journey through racism and how I have landed in my commitment to anti-racist values. My work is a process of introspection, reflection, and then finding my context within the world around me.
As I have started my studies at Savannah College of Art and Design, I'm exploring short films from a fictional narrative perspective. I'm most interested in creating dramas.
I also enjoy recording videos and audio of live music.
