About Me
I never studied music professionally. None of my family members have musical background. It all started for me when I started clicking buttons on a DAW demo software. Those buttons made good sounds and when I arranged them in order, it sounded awsome. I was like, "I am a musician now". It didn't took me long to realise that I am just a particle on a mega iceberg. After I started making annoying sounds in my DAW software, I approached some shortfilm guys to score for their film. It just took me two days to understand that "Not yet" its for the one who studied music professionally. I kept on making sounds without knowing a single line of music theory. Then came the age of internet(at my rural village). I started to read music theory(free). I thought music was all about reading notes from bass and treble cleffs. It was not. There was much more, chords, scales, mods.... the list went on. It was the time I realised that, I am not going to be a musician. I went to college for my second favourite subject.. the bacterias and viruses. For 5 years, I was in love with them, forgot the music completely. Got a job, and with my first salary, I baught a midi keyboard and a DAW. I don't know why. This two things sit there for a while. I was not paying attention to them. The software just stood there in my computer, and the keyboard stayed inside its box, under my bed. One day, I saw one guy composing music live. He was composing for a theme based on audience request. I felt inspiration right away. I searched about this guy, and saw that he never studied music. Yet his composition was so perfect. Again I started learning from free and paid(since I had a job) sources. I am not a musician yet. Still I know that, I can put up pretty decent score to any scene. I believe knowledge comes through experience as I started working as a Microbiologist. The first day i went to my lab, I realized that all those things what I studied about bacteria and viruses are not going to workout here. It was a completely new environment new methods in real life experience. As I write this, I composed a music track for a PC game, now part of an anthology horror series.
