A short demonstration of professional ultrasonic film cleaning recorded at the Spectra Film and Video lab facility.

After film inspection and assembly Spectra loads the film on their Lipsner Smith CF7200 to remove handling debris. Spectra's cleaning applies full immersion in a warm bath of solvent with ultrasonic agitation and gentle buffing of the film. This is known as the most effective method to professionally clean any motion picture film (acetate, nitrate, polyester).
