Wayanad - A glimpse of Kerala 'God's own Country'

Posted by Pushpasis Sarkar
Wayanad is a part of the beautiful state of Kerala which is known for its awesome natural beauty and often referred to as 'God's Own Country'. Wayanad is full of lush green forests and is the land of numerous rivers, streams, gorges and waterfalls. In this short we bring you a glimpse of the beauty Wayanad is. We made this trip in the months of monsoon and so we enjoyed the green cover, the roaring gorges and waterfalls in their full glory.

Wayanad is also famous for its spice, tea and coffee plantations. And almost every plantations has a resort or home-stay built into it for the tourists to enjoy the serenity and calmness of wild nature.

Though we made this trip in the month of September 2010, I was not able to get involved in the editing process till beginning of this year. And then choosing a suitable soundtrack and a storyline for the film was a challenge.

Hope you will enjoy this film as much as I had while working on this project.
