There's a contest called Sidewalk Scramble in Birmingham. You get 48 hours to put together a short from scratch. You're assigned inspirational items, themes and the like to minimize cheating. Our inspirational items for this one were peanuts (to be used as a weapon), Coen Brothers style, and the phrase torturing wax.
