My name is Sheree Rainbolt Kren. I am the Managing Director for Red Rock Productions - working in NYC with non union talent - presenting top quality actor showcases in the Village. We do not charge the actors any fees to be in the showcase, nor do we require a class, or anything else. We do ask them to *please* bring family and friends to buy tkts, but it is not a requirement. Due to the fact that we are one of the very few showcases in NYC who offer a main stage location and a high quality experience for free, we received almost 1000 pics and resumes on our last Backstage Call Audition. The next one for July is already going to top that.If you are looking for talent, I got what you want. There is no fee, no catch, no trick, just a website you can look at for talent, and free tkts to see the showcase, if you are from studentfilmmakers. We do sell tkts to the general public. I wanted to join here, get to know people, create some healthy relationships with talented student filmmakers as we have some visions of our own for the future, and it will help to get started meeting people. The first thing we are seeking is a 5 minute video of the cast of our first showcase. This video would be only of the pre-show and backstage snippets of different actors, getting ready - hand held, funny - weird - whatever. I'm open. Would like to chat with someone about the concept. It will be shown on our website, and later filmings would be shown possibly in the theater on screen - as a set up to the show. Of course, you will get credit and the actors may be very interested in having a copy for pay. If you would like to attend our first showcase, contact me.
