Going to NAB? Be sure to visit the American Cinematographer booth, C11831, located in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Additionally, you're invited to attend the ASC panel discussion (part of the Creative Master Series), "The State of the Crafts: Moving-Image Storytelling in the Modern Mediascape," on Monday, April 8, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in room S220. A distinguished panel of ASC cinematographers will speak from their own experiences about the constantly shifting media landscape and the ways in which their interactions with key collaborators, such as directors and production designers, have evolved. Citing examples from commercials, documentaries, episodic television and independent features, the panelists will illuminate the ways in which they collaborate to ensure a smooth workflow from the set to the (big or small) screen, with images that truly align with the intended vision.
Panelists (subject to availability) will include ASC President Stephen Lighthill; Bill Bennett, ASC; Richard Crudo, ASC; Dean Cundey, ASC; and M. David Mullen, ASC.
The Creative Master Series is part of the SMART or Flex Pass registration package. Attendees can register for that option, or a 1-day Flex Pass.
