There’s a lot of talk about 6G, but not everyone is convinced it’s truly necessary yet. It raises a fair question: are we building toward real needs, or just chasing the next big thing?At the same time, what is clearly gaining traction is private 5G. It’s already being used in live production environments such as sports, news, large-scale events and it’s changing how teams approach connectivity. I ran into Marshall Electronics recently... moreI ran into Marshall Electronics recently while looking into compact camera setups, and I realised I’d completely overlooked them before. Not the same Marshall most people think of (amps, speakers, etc.), which is probably why they fly under the radar a bit. I even made this mistake myself, since I used to own a Marshall amp for my electric guitar as a teenager, and I naturally associated the brand with amps. But returning to Marshall Electronics… What caught my attention is how focused they are on very specific use cases. A lot of their gear seems built for situations where space is tight or you need something discreet but still reliable. Things like small POV cameras or PTZ setups that don’t draw attention but still get the job done. National Mobile Film Competition Returns, Elevating Youth Voices on Food Justice
Grand Rapids, Mich. and Westport, Conn. – Mosaic Film Experience today announced the return of Nourishing Narratives: Cultivating Youth Stories for Change, a national mobile film competition empowering youth to explore food justice through storytelling.Presented in partnership with Newman’s Own Foundation, the initiative invites students ages 13–18 across the United States to create short films (up to three minutes) using only mobile devices. No prior filmmaking experience is required.The competition centers on the theme “Creating Better Food Futures” and challenges participants to include:
